Rosemary is Data Protection Officer at KCB Bank Group. She served as a Public Policy Manager at Safaricom PLC. She is a lawyer and Advocate of the High Court of Kenya whose practice focuses on public policy as well as legal and regulatory affairs in the legal tech space. She devotes her work and after work engagements to the building of knowledge in the legal tech space. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, the chair of the Cross Cutting Issues (Legal and Policy) committee at the ICT Sector board of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), a co-organiser of Nairobi Legal Hackers and a member of the board of trustees of the Kenya ICT Action Network (KICTANet). She has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi, Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law and is pursuing a Masters in Business Administration at the University of Suffolk. Rosemary has been awarded the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) 2021 Influential Women in Legal Tech. She was listed among the 2021 Africa’s Leading Women in Legal Innovation. She is a recipient of the Africa Legal Innovations Awards 2020 and was also listed as one of the 30 most influential women in tech in the year 2020
