37 ICANN Meeting Kicks Off |
The 37th ICANN Meeting kicked off officially on 9th March, 2010 at KICC, Nairobi Kenya. The meeting started with opening remarks from the ICANN CEO, Mr. Rod Beckstrom. This was followed by key speeches from the ICANN Chairman, KENIC Chairman, government officials and sponsors of the event.

4th Annual AfTLD African ccTLD Event: 2-7 March 2010, Nairobi Kenya
The African Top Level Domains Organization (AfTLD), the association of African ccTLDs, is currently holding its 4th Annual African ccTLD 2010 event. The event is being held in Kenyatta Internationa Conference Centre (KICC), Nairobi, Kenya from 2nd to 7th March 2010 just before the ICANN 37 Meeting.
The event is generously hosted by the Kenya Network Information Center (KENIC), a member of AfTLD with the support of local sponsors.

KENIC Launches New Automated .Ke Registry System
28th December, 2009: Nairobi - Kenya
The Kenya Network Information Centre (KENIC) has launched a new registry system for the registration and management of dot Ke domain names.
KENIC also launched three low priced Second Level Domains (SLDs). The three are .me.ke for use of personal names, .info.ke for information, and .mobi.ke for mobile content.
