On Friday, September 12, 2025, the focus moved from the innovators to our expert judging panel. They began the crucial task of evaluating the 50 inventive web and mobile prototypes submitted.
We opted for an in-depth, collaborative approach over a traditional pitch day. Judges accessed all submissions through the Hack-A-Milli backend platform, allowing them to independently test, explore, and analyze the prototypes.
This method encouraged detailed discussions and the exchange of critical insights as they applied a keen eye to three key areas:
1. Innovation & Originality: Evaluating fresh solutions to real problems.
2. Technical Excellence: Assessing architecture, functionality, and usability.
3. Impact & Scalability: Gauging the potential to strengthen Kenya’s .KE digital space.
