2026 Registrar Engagement Meeting: Strengthening the .KE Partnership

KeNIC (Kenya Network Information Centre) brought together its accredited .KE registrars for the 2026 Registrar Engagement Meeting, a full-day session dedicated to engagement, knowledge sharing, and collaboration with the partners who power the growth of the .KE namespace.

Running from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the meeting brought registrars and the KeNIC team together to strengthen collaboration, align on priorities, and chart the way forward for the .KE domain ecosystem.

What the Day Covered

The engagement was structured around three key objectives:

1. Briefings and discussions on key initiatives and projects, including the expected impact of ongoing and upcoming work on the .KE ecosystem
2. Sensitization and training, with a focus on the integration and adoption of the .KE App
3. Business performance updates and partner feedback, giving registrars a platform to share their experiences and priorities directly with KeNIC

Beyond these core sessions, the day also opened up broader conversation on opportunities to enhance the growth and adoption of .KE domains, with registrars contributing ideas and feedback on how KeNIC and its partners can work together more effectively.
